Hi,
When I stop MQ with any option of endmqm, SOLARIS doesn't free IPC taken by MQM ...
Do you know if it is normal or if I can find a way to do ?
Take Care,
Cyril |

Two questions:
1) When you are ending the queue manager, are you ending it because it is in some bad state? Or are you just recycling it when everything appears to be working fine?
2) If the queue manager isn't misbehaving when you shut it down, does endmqm -w still leave resources hanging?
I've run into this many times, but usually only when the queue manager froze or started acting weird, and when we shut it down, it wasn't clean. In this case we had to go back and free up all shared memory, semaphores, etc... But a controlled shutdown when nothing was wrong with the queue manager pretty much always came off without leaving anything behind...
