HI,

I read in the 5.3 documentation that the Keepalive interval is now only available for z/OS (define channel command) !

Why? - we used to use this parameter before for other environments.

Is it possible to use it for non z/OS platforms?

It's probably means that it is now in the define channel command for z/Os only and continues to be a queue manager parameter on other platforms.

I understand:
- KAINT is a new parameter for the channel definition for z/OS
- and for others platforms we can carry on using configuration files to specify the keepalive interval
