Transfer is possible to/from a person who is authorized....

Can any user other than Process Administrator transfer work items....

I tested to try out this feature using web clent and fat client for a user who is a "Manager", and has access to work items of other users...

I set this using the authorization tab in build time... but when i transfered the work item it says you are not authorized.......

How do u set this ? can someone help?

You must be doing something wrong.

Here's the scenario:

Define the following users:

    ONE
    TWO
    THREE


Now for User ONE on the authorizations tab set that user ONE has access to wokitems of users TWO and THREE.

Now user ONE can transfer workitems to either user TWO and THREE.
