Hi,
If my activity expiry time is for one month and mean time wf server is restarted due to some problem or for maintanance will my activity duration is affected? I mean will it start afresh or will that start from where it was?
Thanks,

The way MQWF handles time related operations is that it stores the start and final timestamps in the tables whenever such event takes place.
In this case, the activity expiration time entry should be there in some table as soon as activity comes in ready state. So what I understand is that the activity duration should not get effected as Scheduling Server must be checking the exipiration timestamp entries only to intiate some action. And this is not going to change on restart of server.
Hope this is correct
What will happen if somebody changes the machine time where server is running ? _________________

Since as you correctly stated the timestamp for the expiration is stored, the activity will expire based on the current machine time. _________________ John McDonald
