what is the difference between a local connection and MQSeries for Java connection ?
This I am talkin about when any application connects to MQ/MQSI ?

If your java connection to MQ is using Bindings mode (the default), then none.
The difference is that applications using the MQ API are linked with either the Server libary or the Client library, and so can only operate in one mode.
Java, on the other hand, can make that determination at run time.
MQSI is 'just' an MQ application. It uses Queues as the inputs and outputs. You don't 'connect' to MQSI.
