hi ppl
I am new to JAVA-MQS deevlopment.
I have got few doubts:
1)
How would I use MQI calls in Java ..i know that there is a seperate API for Java-MQS.
And this API implements all the 9 MQI calls.
2)
I have an application written in JMS.
If I introduce MQSI in my architecture later after JMS app development, how would I integrate with Mqsi.
Simple example if my JMS app is a point - point sending some msgs from Queue1 on QM 1 to Queue2 on QM2. Now I would like to introduce several formatting on my msg.
I have books, they are all theory. Give me some guidance with ur experience.

1) Get the MA88 Support Pac (or at least the PDF file) and read that. It explains the java methods that 'wrap' the MQI calls.
2) The message from QM1 instead of going to Queue2 would go to a queue being used by an Input node in MQSI. After reformatting the message you would use an Output node to send the message to Queue2 on QM2.
Cheers,
