Hi,
Instead of using JMSAdmin to generate all the MQSeries JNDI definitions, I'm developing a tool that will generate them automatically. The only problem I'm having is related with the CCSID. Let's suppose that I want to define a QueueConnectionFactory and a Queue. If I use JMSAdmin and if I don't specify the CCSID, I'll have two different values - 819 for the QueueConnectionFactory and 1208 for the Queue. Why are these values different? How should I set these values?
Also, I created a QCF/Q definitions for a Queue Manager on a OS/390 server(my JMS application was on a Windows system). I used the values 819 and 1208, and everything worked correctly, although the server has another CCSID. Are these values related with the system where the JMS application is running or with the server where the Queue Manager is?
