We need to implement MQ SSL on several platforms. Who has experience with MQ SSL on Unix, Windows and OS/390? Thanks _________________ Peter Smit

Search for "SSL" in this forum and you would find lot of hits.
There are few good redbooks and white papers on MQ and SSL on IBM's web site, you could search them through as well.

I know, but they are more than 400 pages. I'm looking for a kind of 'quick start' information _________________ Peter Smit

Well, you dont seem to have a specific problem. Hence its hard to resolve it. Now, if you want to learn something, you have to either read through the books or take a course/tutorial. There is no "short cut" anyways to it.
Since your post is very broad in nature, the only thing that anybody could suggest is to get back to the manuals.
Cheers

I think it's much shorter than 400 pages _________________ Brandon Duncan

Sections 11.3 and 11.4 of the MQ security redbook should help you - only 50 pages with lots of pictures - and I'm currently putting a words only one together that is only 6 pages, which I may distribute. Don't know anything about TopSecret though. |
