hi
I am an OS/390 MQ user, I dont want to use the message sequence
feature on MVS. I know that there is a option call 'sequential delivery
option' that can disable the message sequence numbering' , yet, I
can not find such option on all the Os/390 channel. Does anyone
know how to set such option on OS/390. Thank

"Sequential delivery" is only valid on OS/390 using CICS. This is rarely used. For other platforms, channels always use message sequence numbering (it's internall, you cannot change it, except for setting the "sequence number wrap" value)
See the following abstract from the "Intercommunication" manual:
Quote: |
This applies only to OS/390 using CICS. Set this to 'YES' when using sequential numbering of messages. If one side of the channel requests this facility, it must be accepted by the other side.
There could be a performance penalty associated with the use of this option.
