What's the full error message?
does bipservice.exe exist in IBM/WBIMB/bin?
Did you change permissions on that directory?
Is the service user still a member of the local administrator's group?
Has the service user's password expired? _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

No, its not there. The exact error is "The systen cannot find the specified file" i didn't changed any thing. Do i have to reinstall the product. I just installed the V6 and configured it.
Thanks |

Since you're looking for bipservice.EXE, I'll assume you're using Windows. On my system, that file is located in:
c:\Program Files\IBM\MQSI\6.0\bin
I took the "default install paths".... your directory looks a bit suspicious.... _________________ -wayne |

Wayne - there's nothing wrong with selecting a different installation path. Particularly, java in general doesn't play well with paths that have spaces in them, so I usually install broker and other such in a c:\IBM\ folder, rather than taking the default location. It also helps avoid issues in Eclipse with long paths.
Wmqiadmin - this file didn't disappear on it's own. Yes, likely you will need to reinstall the product.
But this shouldn't cause you to lose your existing configuration. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

I didn't say there was anything wrong with using something other than the default path ... and I don't remember whether you can override the "6.0" bit in the path name .... and since the slashes are going the correct (err...wrong?) way, I just wanted to make sure he was looking in the right place .... _________________ -wayne |

you should try the mqsistart etc commands from "Start" -> Programs IBM WebSphere Broker ... -> Command Console , which brings up a command window.... _________________ -wayne |
