Hi,
I'm intrested in installing MQ Explorer on a workstation.
I found out that only when I install MQ Server for windows it also installs the MQ Explorer, is there an installation for MQ Explorer only somwhere?
maybe in the MQ Client installation ?

No there isn't. You'll need to use another tool if you don't want to install MQServer. Links to free tools such as MQJexplorer, contact admin ControlExpress and others can be found on this site.
