I've had a search through the site and haven't found any questions on this topic, but I can't believe no-ones set this up yet. Or is it that easy?
The MQ security redbook missed this bit because "..for smaller installations, it is almost always easier to simply remove the offending certificate from the certificate repository"
But as someone said to me, setting up a PKI using self-signed certificate exchange without a CRL is like buying a car with a wheel missing (and he didn't mean a Reliant Robin).
Please share any experience you've had of this. Directory servers used, configuration in MQ and how it all hangs together.
