Hi all,

I've read the thread regarding Solaris kernel parameter settings and actually asked the administrator to apply the MQSeries kernel settings on the Solaris server before installing MQ.

Unfortunately, I wasn't aware that the server was already running other applications, namely Oracle. The MQ install kept failing on the post verification script.

The problem was solved by setting the following:
set shmsys:shminfo_shmmin=1

Did I miss out something from the MQSeries kernel settings? Anyone encountered this problem before?

Cheers,
Lin
