Hi all,
I am about to start my career as an MQSeries consultant. I have installed the server, client and the Java classes. I have also set the classpath. I am able to create queue manager, queue, channels, everything. but when i start the channel i get the error code AMQ4128.
can some one explain me what's the reason behind that code and how to solve the problem.
your suggesions is greatly appreciated..
thank you very much

Looking up message AMQ4128 results in:
AMQ4128 The service could not be started. <message>
Explanation: The IBM MQSeries service has tried to start a particular component service of a queue manager, but has failed. The returned error text from the specific service is appended to the message.
User Response: None
So please if you want more help let us know returned error text ?

You have something called the mqerrlog that logs any such errors that you saw relating to channels. Look into the logs to see what happenned around the time you tried to start the channel. In case you cannot make it out, paste the logged info to help further.
Also as pointed out already by Remco, you need to paste the complete error text to find out what service failed.
Cheers
