Hi,
I read in the documentation that MCA never alters message context - so when putting message on the destination queue the date & time fields are not the actual values ! or does the MCA set the date & time fields to the actual values?
thanks for clear info about that point

Heres an example.
Put=====>Remote queue==========================(1)
(10:00:00 on 06/16/03) MCA sends the message accross
(1)================>Put================(2)
MCA receives the message(as is). Checks for authority
(2)============================>Local or destination queue
for the uid used. And puts the message(as is)
As explained above, the message is NEVER touched/modified, it is put as is. Hence all the context info is directly put on the destination queue. In case conversion was requested, the message is converted, again "as is". Nothing is added or removed from the original md and message.
