I am getting a error 2009 when a C++ client on a NT is trying to open a queue on a Tru64 UNIX.

The amqsgetc program can open the same queue without any problems.

The C++ client can open queues on a NT (different from the client machine) without any problems.

Facts:
- The C++ client uses MQCONNX (rc=OK)
- The amqsgetc uses MQCONN
- The MQSeries client on the NT is version 5.0
- MQSeries on the Tru64 UNIX is version 5.1
- MQSeries on the NT is version 5.0

I hope anybody can help.

Thanks

Take a look at the Error Logs on the server you are trying to connect to.

Cheers,

There is nothing in the error logs on the server.

Are you sure you have the right host name and port number for your client connection?

I'am sure about the host name and port number because amqsgetc runs without any problems.

Best regards
