I am running MQSI on Win2000 server.
This was working just fine for a long while.
When I start the control center I only get the splash screen and nothing else no errors or anything and the control center does not start.
I have tried the diferent file swaps suggested in similar messages in the forum (working.cfg etc.) but none helped, it does not appear like any files are missing either.
I can open the control center if connecting from a different machine using a tcpip connection.
If you're sure you've got LogonInfo.dll and LogonInfo.pdb in <wmqi_install_dir>/bin, and you're still getting this issue, it sounds like you need to trace the control center and see what's going on.
Here's some instructions I got from IBM a while ago for a different problem
Quote:
1) start control center as such: <MQSI V2 Install Directory>\Tool\mqsilcc 2
2) recreate the error (in your case start the control center).
3) mqsireadlog controlcenter -t -b controlcenter -o control.fmt -f
4) mqsiformatlog -i control.fmt -o control.txt
You'll need to do this on the server, or move files called ControlCenter.trace.bin.x to the server machine and then run mqsireadlog and mqsiformatlog. Then examine what's in control.txt.
