Hi,
We are using two-phse commit in our system. Right now we are able to have connection to a single database from a queue manager. Now we are looking for multiple database connetions from the same queue manager. Please reply in detail about the configuration changes required for the same.
Looking forward for your replies.

You need to add some additional XAResourceManager stanzas to your ini file for each of the additional databases. |

Sir
Thanks for ur reply.
I would like to know is it possible to have two connection, to the same database, but different schemas, from the same queue manager. And can we distinguish between these connections using AT clause.

If the queue manager and the database server (DB2 UDB) are in different machines, how to setup mq server as the resource coordinator to corrdinate the transactions between mq and DB2 Server?
Please help to verify the following setup procedure
1. I think I need to install DB2 Client in the MQ Server and then catalog the remote database which will participate in the 2 phase commit
2. I know I need to update the TP_MON_NAME to mqmax. Should I just need to do it on the DB2 Server DBM CFG or I need to do it on the DB2 Client DBM CFG as well (I mean the MQ client machine)?
3. Update the qm.ini to add the XAResourceManager stanza
Please advise.
Thanks |
