Can a Sun Solaris server with the MQI Client connect to Websphere MQ 5.3 Server running on Windows 2000?

If so, would I use the same MQ client on the Solaris that I would use to connect to MQ on another Solaris machine or is it a different one?

I know this sounds a bit in reverse, but I have a business need for it. I have a queue manager on a Windows 2000 Server that an application on Solaris needs MQ access to and I would prefer to use the MQ Client rather than full blown channels between the two.
