We are looking to bring in an application and run it under Terminal Server. We need to interface with other systems. We are already a MQSeries shop so would like to stick with it and avoid a MSMQ-MQSeries bridge. Has anyone implemented MQSeries (either client or server) on a Terminal Server, MetaFrame, CITRIX, etc.

We have implemented MQSeries Client and Server on various Citrix Servers. I have had no problems with MQ5.2. We had a small problem with MQ 5.1 which was fixed by replacing the amqadh2.dll as supplied by IBM.

Thank you for the reply. How long have you been running MQSeries in your Citrix environment?

Is there any documentation that you used to get it set up? Or did you just figure it out? I'm trying to figure out if I can support MQSeries on Win2k with TS and Citrix.

Hi Andrew,
When I did the install I just worked it out myself. It was on Windows NT not W2K. It installed without any problems, I did have a problem when trying to create the queue manager. IBM had to provide me with a dll which I had to replace. (amqadh2.dll)
Also I installed MQ5.1 CSD05. I will be upgrading shortly hopefully that goes well too.

Cheers
Peter

Thanks, Peter. If you come across any info on this I would appreciate it. I recently went to IBM for help and they sent me to this site.

Hi Peterli:

I will try writing in English so please excuse any errors.

I writting from México City!

We cant to deploy MQ with Windows 2K and Citrix. I had been reading yours posts, and I had seen that you have a MQ vs W2K/Citrix. So, you Win is NT??. Do you have any ideas if is possible to deploy MQ server on W2K/Citrix? or MQ Client with W2K/Citrix?

Our solutions is MQ Workflow. But this product needs a MQ Series like a base. So,ours clients of MQ Workflow needs a MQ Series client or Server. Our ends-users are provided they services by Citrix. This is the point!

Best regards.
And, please excuse any errors, my english is very bad!
