We want to know whether EDI application can send comp-3 field to mainframe appliation thru MQ? Will MQ disturb the packed decimal data? Is there any IBM MQ series manual which talks about comp-3 fields? Is there any thread in this forum who discussed about this issue?

If your message is going from mainframe application to another mainframe application then set the MQMD.Format field to NONE and you will be fine.

If your data is leaving the mainframe then I would change the field to PIC.
