I know wthat for the OS/390 there is smf data for reporting and tracking trends in MQ.
Is there a similar facility for the distributive world? _________________ Gary |

Hi
There's also a trace for distributed platforms:
strmqtrc [-t TraceType] [-l MaxFileSize] [-m QMgrName] _________________ Marcin Grabinski <>< |

Hi
Is this information captured from the trace, viewable with any particular products ie MXG for mainframe SMF data?
Are there any other products which can view this traced data?
Thanks _________________ Gary |

MQSeries provides dspmqtrc utility to format and display the trace output. As far as I remember, the utility is not available on AIX (since there is a system trace utility) _________________ Marcin Grabinski <>< |

I'm trying to use smf reports.
I have demanded a GDG on my OS/390 in order to receive informations
but people ask me the size of the reports
Someone knows it ???
I have declared a smf report every 30 min...is this too important ??
I have download a patch on IBM web site (MP1B), installed it but now...I'am a bit lost |
