In windows NT I have added a user id in my network domain to the Administrators group & mqm group on my machine.
But with this user id I can only start & stop the Qmanagers. I cannot see the Qs or other objects. I get the following error AMQ4036 (insufficient authority)
Any idea what the problem could be ???

The problem has been resolved. I'am able to access the Qs etc if I first connect to the Qmanager using a MQCONNX call with default options(i.e. standard binding).
Before this I tried connecting using the MQCONN call but it failed. Any idea Y MQCONNX worked where MQCONN failed ??

Hi Priya

Could you please tell me that how your able to solve this Domain user problem.Even me too have the same problem with AMQ4036
error.

Even I have added Domain user to LOCAL Admin and MQM group as well.But still I am getting the same error.
