I have an MDB running under the context of a Container Managed Transaction in Websphere 5.0. In the onMessage(), I would like to put the message to a different queue after some processing. I would like this PUT to be within the context of the same transaction. What should I do make this work. The JMS Provider is Websphere MQ 5.3.

Does this require an XA Transaction or a 2-phase commit to do the above?
