Hi,
we have two Queue-Managers listening on Port 1414 and 1415. Is it and if yes, how is it possible to change the port of Queue-Manager.
Any Ideas are welcome.
Cheers

Depending upon the platform there would be slight changes. But generally speaking this is what you need to do.
1) End your listeners. If you started them using runmqlsr, end it or kill it. If it was started automatically at the qm startup, then you have to go to mqservices to do this.
2) If you wish to restart the listeners manually, then just change the port number to whatever you want at the command prompt to runmqlsr command. -p paramater is the one that you need to use.
3) If you are not running the listener manually, then you change this value in the qmini/qm.ini/registry, depending on the platform. End and restart your qm to automatically start listeners for you on the desired ports.
Cheers

Hi Kumar,
cannot find the qm.ini or anything in the registry. I am running the queuemanagers und W2K in a MSCS environment.
Perhaps you have some more details for this environment for me.
Thanks

Go to MQ Services snap-in, select the queue manager on the tree,
right click on Listener in the list, properties, tab of Parameters - change the port. _________________ Regards.

Still learning.
