Hi,

MQSeries trigger monitor connection broken.

MQSeries trigger monitor ended.

Any ideas to resolve the problem...

Thanks

Are you running the trigger monitor in bindings mode on the server, (runmqtrm) or the client trigger monitor (runmqtmc)?

If it is the client queue manager, you may just be losing a socket connection. With server bindings, MQ's signal handler may be receiving a stray async signal that causes a premature wakeup of a semaphore.

Take a look at the MQ error logs around the time of the failure and see if any communication errors or internal errors are logged. If there are internal errors, an FDC file is also generated. If there is, post again with the top portion of the FDC file.

AFAIK, you could run the WillowTech's flavour MQ on SCO platform. We was using MQ on SGI built on the same code base, and got similar messages a lot of times (trigger monitor and command server, too).

So there is running a little scheduled script to monitor these processes and restart when needed. Very ugly, but works
