HI
I have installed mqseries 5.3 and Mqsi 2.0.2 on my win 2k workstation.
I successfully created the config manager and the broker, both were started properly.
My problem is that I have to install some message flows.
In the MQSI control centre, assignments tab, under the brokers heading I dont find my broker listed.
My broker and Config manager are sharing the same Queue manager.
are there any steps to be taken so that the broker is visible in the control centre
Please advice.
Thanks for your help
Regards

This might be security issue.
Check that you have sufficient authority to perform this action |

Actually, I think if you don't have authority to do assignments, you won't see the Assignments tab at all.
It sounds like he didn't add his broker to his ConfigMgr topology. This doesn't happen automatically. You need to go to the Topology tab, check out the Topology, add your broker, and then check in and deploy the Topology. |
