Hi
I have installed Control Center on a NT workstation.
I have two servers each with it's own Configuration Manager and Broker etc...
I can access the first ok using the control centre however I can connect to the second ok but can't get access to topolgy to add a broker.
Question is can I access these two different servers using the one client control center if so how ?
and what is the best way to use workspaces in this instance?
If you are unable to access Topology on one ControlCenter, it is a security issue with your user on that ConfigMgr. You may not be in the right mqbr* groups (or Domain mqbr* groups) on that machine or domain, or be in the MQM group or otherwise have the wrong permissions. Review your Administration manual and your Installation & Planning guide for more information about what permissiosn you need to access Topology and add or remove brokers.
It's better to use one workspace file for each ConfigMgr, in my opinion. This will help keep you from deploying things to the wrong environment.
Unfortunately, the connection isn't saved as part of the workspace, so you have to manually switch both your workspace file AND your connection to switch between the two environments.

Checked the server for my permissions and they were correct. Then checked the Domain Controller and discovered that I wasn't registered there. Once I had been added with the correct permissions the control center worked fine.
