Hai all
i have a trigger monitor running which invokes an application .i have some doubts
regarding this.
1.In what way can trigger montiors be advantageous?
2.can we give the same default initiation queue which the system creates or can we have an different initiation queue .does it have anything related to performance?.Since i have different queues with the same initiation queue, would i ever end up with an mixup of messages?
3. If for some reason the invoking application throws an error during processing and exits ,Will mqseries invoke the application next time the message comes in.
Actually i encountered this problem and afterwards ,when i put an message into the queue , the trigger monitor is not invoking the application
4.Can trigger monitors be given as an service.
Please advice

Application requirements dictate this. Most important is that YOU don't have to poll for message (PUSH Vs. PULL ).
2.can we give the same default initiation queue which the system creates or can we have an different initiation queue .does it have anything related to performance?.Since i have different queues with the same initiation queue, would i ever end up with an mixup of messages?
Nope. You can use the same initiation queue.

Depends on what kind of trigger you have setup. If it's Trigger(FIRST) you can experience what you explained as one message has arrived and remains on the queue.
4.Can trigger monitors be given as an service.
Yes.
Please advice
