I use web-client and whenever I need to search for a workitem, I use IE browser "find" option to serach for the work item. Yesterday I had to use Fat client I could not figure out how it can be achieved
Please let me know

what do u mean by following

I assume you meant you use "Find on page" option of the browser. There is no equivalent in the fat client. The only option would be a filter set to the WI you want.
