data mapping question

I have 3 activities A and B connected with a control connector and data connector, A-->B and A-->C.

what happens to the input container of Activity B if control connector from A to B evaluates to false and model takes route A ->C?

My guess is B's input container will be updated. I would like it if it is not.

This is an opinion, I am not certain of this.

I believe that the container will not be updated, since control did not flow to that activity. The only way to be certain would be to set up a test.

I am novice. But would like to throw in my idea. If the container is a global contatiner then the input container of B will have data populated. If not I agree with Jmac that it would not be populated...
