My queue manager is doing checkpoints much to frequently (at times it is every minute and sometime less). I want to increase my LOGLOAD parameter to achieve the recommended 15 minute checkpoint interval. My question is that my LOGLOAD parameter would be around 2000000 to achive this. Is this number unusual? The manual states that it can be up to 16000000, but does anyone actually have this high of a value?

Why not,

It look like you have an heavy message rate. Just make shure that your log size is also large enough...
