fmcibie utility can handle at the most 8100 users at a stretch. I tried to import an FDL having 10,000 users and it core dumped. I found that 8100 is the limit to import at a time. This is same for Buildtime and Runtime.
So, if I have 40,000 users then I will have FDLs broken into files containing 8100 users in each and import them.
MQWF 3.3.2
I would like to hear some comments on this one.

I believe you are talking about the initial attempt of getting users into workflow.
on a regular basis I am thinking loading one User at a time ( 1 : 1 person fdl relation), because you dont want to try to load 8100 users at a time and because of some exception all the work being rolled back. If I do a 1 to 1 I can keep track of who were unable to be added/deleted.
Am I making sense?

I don't think I like the 1:1 approach. I would prefer a chunk of users say 2000 in one FDL and then import it. This way I will have the log file (the log file generated by fmcibie with -l option) and can use this for future reference.
Also if you have this large number of users I have a feeling that invoking fmcibie time and again is an over kill.
But now I see another problem. How would I export these many users ...If it can import 8100 users I don't think it will be able to export more than that number.

The 1:1 approach is definetly an overkill, but is more flexible meaning you can have a process to import users and you will have the flexibility to take different paths if workflow is unable to add/delete a user.
Regarding Export, I exported more than 8100 users at a time, so dont think it is a problem. Have to verify though.
