CommerceQuest Queue Tool is now available as FREEWARE from CommerceQuest's web site.

Queue Tool is an elegant, simple Windows-based utility which provides access to messages on queues through a client or server MQ connection. It can connect to any queue manager that has client support, INCLUDING OS/390 AND AS/400 BASED QUEUE MANAGERS.
Queue Tool provides the following main features:
- Does not require MQ Server to run. Any Windows machine with MQ Client installed can run Queue Tool.
- Supports MQ Send, Receive, and Security exits on client connections.
- Simple installation procedure.
- Clear a queue even if it is open.
- Select one or many messages on a queue and remove them.
- View and Edit the contents of messages in Text, Hex, or XML modes.
- View and Edit the Message Descriptor of messages.
- Display the contents of the Dead Letter Header for messages in Dead Letter format.
- Put new messages to local and remote queues.
- Import message data from a file and export message data to a file.
- Optional timer-based automatic refresh to see as new messages arrive.
- Simple "two-click" navigation to the contents of any queue.
This is a fully functional version of the product that is not time locked, and is not crippled by limitations such as on the number of queue managers that can be accessed. Our development and services teams have increased their productivity by using this tool, and we hope that it provides the same benefits to your organization.
Queue Tool is only intended for use in non-production environments and CommerceQuest is not responsible for any loss of data as a result of using Queue Tool.

| We use PQEdit and RFHUTIL but I seem to like this better. PQEdit is not free and RFHUTIL can be cumbersome.... |
