Has anyone implement a general-purpose data routine? Or any data routine at all.
Something that could be called from a compute node across flows. Something that would calculate DayOfTheWeek , HowManyDaysTillEndOfTheYear, PreviousDaysDate, DiffBetween2Dates, etc.
If so, would you share your experiences. Any insight would be useful.

Some of these results can be achieved by using standard WMQI functions/operators, or You can write your own function to return DayOfWeek (pl do a search in this forum to find that thread).
You can also write a stored procedure, which will call DB Date function.
