We would like to find out if there is any consequences of running MQIPT as non-root user. We have changed the ownership of of the /opt/mqipt directory and subdirectories and are able start and use MQIPT w/o the use of a root user.

Can someone share, if this approach has any side-effects or adverse consequences ?

Raj
