Hi!
Well my problem is, as you can see in the subject of this thread, connecting to a QueueManager on a remote machine. I'm using Delphi and in this case it has to be the ver. 3. Fact is that I have no idea how to do this. Till now I installed the MQSeries Client for WinNT on the client machine and defined an Environment Variable MQMANAGER=CLIENT.TO.HOSTM/TCP/192.168.0.1. On the server side I defined a channel with the same name and CHLTYPE(SVRCONN).
Ok, now to Delphi. I used MQSeries before with Delphi but always asinhronous. I imported MQAX200_TLB provided in ma7b. I had to do some changes to the library and it works perfect. But now I have to read/write into a QUEUE on a remote machine. Oh, almost forgot, my Client ver. is 5.2.
any help is welcome,
regards, MH |

I can't claim to know anything about Delphi. However, I would guess that when you connect to your queue manager, you have an option of passing in the MQCNO structure. You can set your channel name, hostname, and port in this structure. |

My problem is more Delphi- than MQSeries-specific. |
