Hi,

Can you help me? I am stuck with a problem while doing a Complete
Configuration(All
Types)......Forced. MQSI returns me the following message:

BIP1205E An unexpected exception was encountered accessing the
configuration repository.

The Exception Text is: [IBM][CLIDriver][DB2/NT]SQL0973N.

Not enough storage available in the "APP_CTL_HEAP" heap to process the
statement. SQLSTATE = 57011.

Looks like i have to do something with the database. Please tell me whether
i have to set some parameters in the DB2. I am not a database guru. Earlier
i did this deployment without any problem, but now i don't know why i am
stuck.

Thanks & Regards,
Rajesh:(

I too had this problem. I encountered this when I had too many execution groups and message flows. Do you have a large number of such? I found that if I added the execution groups and flows one at a time and deployed after each addition, I was able to get to where I wanted. I suspect a bug that is caused by too large a deploy at one time.

Here is a reply i got in MQSeries list server and it worked fine. Thanks to Christopher Frank.

Here are instructions I received on how to deal with this error:

Start the DB2 Control Center and do the following:

Stop the DB2 Instance(s)
----------------------------------------
1) Select the /Instances/ containing the Database(s) you
are connecting to. 2) Right Click and
select 'Stop' for the . Confirm the disconnection of
applications if OK to do so. 3) Expand the
/Instances/ to show the list of Databases.
Repeat the following for each of the MQSI Databases:
----------------------------------------
A) Right Click on the Database and select 'Configure...' menu item.
B) Select the 'Performance' tab.
C) Scroll down the list of Parameters and highlight the 'DB2 Parameter'
app_ctl_heap_sz. D) Change the
Value to 1024, giving an Application Control Heap Size of 1024 * 4Kbytes.
Re-Start the DB2 Instance(s)
----------------------------------------------
1) Right Click on the /Instances/, and select the
'Start' menuitem.
Finally, everything should be running correctly, and the failed deployment
will hopefully succeed.
The actual 'db2' command required is:
db2 => update db config for DBNAME using APP_CTL_HEAP_SZ 1024
and then confirm the configuration:
db2 => get db config for DBNAME

I too got the same error message when I tried to force deploy. DB2 manual suggested to increase the heap size to 256. I increase to 256, it didn't work, 512 also didn't work and finally 1024 worked. I also had to make the change for the Resource manager DB.
