Hi,

Is there a way of using different Domain names rather then the ones specified in the manual:

* Domain mqbrkrs
* Domain mqbrasgn
* Domain mqbrdevt
* Domain mqbrops
* Domain mqbrtpic

Reason I'm asking is we have several different environments in one and the same Windows NT domain, say one for development, one for test and one for production. It's pretty obvious I would like to have for example developers to have deployment rights in 'their' development environment but not in the test or production environment. Unfortunately with only one set of valid domain names I can't see how I can differentiate like that. Note that I have no authority (nor know the impact) of moving people into different domains...

Cheers,

Ward.

This is the way I've handled it.

All machines are running as members of one domain. Production broker is using Domain security. This uses Domain mqbr* groups.

Test/UAT brokers are using local security. These use local mqbr* groups.
Users for test/uat are added from domain into local mqbr groups.

This may be different if you are using Active Directory.
