I need to install a MQ Client in AIX with HACMP.

You have some special recommendation? Is it necessary to define a separated file systems?

Have you seen the supportpac for MQ and HACMP (MC63)? It is very useful with MQ Server setup, but I don't know about MQ Client setup.

yes, I read the MC63 supportpack but I found nothing about setup Clients in HACMP.

If your MQClient is remote from the HACMP-managed QM the failover I would have expected that connection to the secondary would be transparent to the client and should not require any special action. It the client runs on the same mchine as the QM you will need to take steps to be able to run it on the secondary machine.
