Hi,
I am getting the following message in the MQ master
API COMPLETION CODE=2, REASON CODE=2053
COMMAND SERVER ERROR PUTTING TO REPLY TO QUEUE
I know 2053 is queue full but I am trying to find what is filling it. I believe it could be the MainView product but can't prove it.
Any ideas,
Brian.[/i] |

Strange as it seems I was getting the same thing only yesterday, the only thing is that I was testing something out and manually closed down the test channel to my NT machine from the z/OS machine. The z/OS qmgr spit out a handful of 2053 (I assume because of the transmission queue). The messages ended up in the DLQ.
Once I restarted the channel all was well again.
Not sure if this helps in your case but the thing I was using was the MQMONITOR! |

You could always try browsing the queue to see if you recognize the messages on it and who they are from. |

Thanks
The reply queues are dynamic so when I use MQBrowse I can't open the DLQ because MainView is holding it and when I try to browse in MainView they disappear because they are dynamic!!!!
It doesn't happen every hour but when it does it happens on the quarter hour ie 00:15 or 14:30.
