Dear all,
Hi, I'm new to this newsgroup so please excuse me if I have posted to the wrong Forum.
I am having a problem deleting a sender channel on my queue manager.
MQ complains that the channel is in-doubt (AMQ4053).
The queue manager that this sender channel points to has already been deleted and I have also deleted its transmission queue.
From runmqsc, displaying that channel gives me the object not found (AMQ8147) but when I display all sender channels of my queue manager, I can see that the channel is listed.
Can anyone suggest how best to delete this channel properly? The MQ logs constantly complain that the channel is in-doubt.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Lin |

You need to resolve the channel first. See the Intercommunications manual, Chapter 5 DQM implementation, section Channel Control Functions, topic In-Doubt Channels.
Basically, you have to either dump (commit) or backout (to the xmitq) the messages that are in-doubt on the channel. _________________ Brian Meekings

If the commit or backout, will not work. And you are shure you can delete the channel and not causing any dataloss. You can still trie to remove the appropiate message from "SYSTEM.CHANNEL.SYNCQ" and than delete your channel. But be very carefull with this.
