Hi,
I am new to writing security exits in MQ.
We have WMQ5.3 running on solaris 8 platform.
We have a vendor company with whom we will be communicating via MQ. They have provided a sample "security exit" program that we need to install on our sender channel. The Program contains a "user id " & "password" that needs to be passed from the "security exit" program. I have compiled the code successfully. But I need to test this security exit function myself before actually implementing it.

I have created 2 QM's, receiver channel, sender channel etc.

Can anyone tell me the steps needed so that I can test this security exit programs
Do I need to setup userid and password on the receiver channel and do I need to install a security exit program on the receiver channel.
