Hi,

I'm using WMQI V2.1 CSD4 on NT and before I put a message to the reply to queue I need to alter the MQMD.Useridentifier field.

When I set the following options in the OutputNode
Destination Mode = 'Reply To Queue'
Message Context = 'Set All'

it keeps the original UserId instead.

If I change this to hard code the replytoq using
Destination Mode = 'Queue Name'
Message Context = 'Set All'

it works fine.

Has anyone else experience the same problem?

I don't recall having the issue that you are speaking of... However in working with MQSI I have noticed strange behaviour when using ReplyTo features of the MQPUT node or MQREPLY node. I noticed the IBM makes a lot of assumptions about how the MQMD should be populated when using the reply to feature.

As you have pointed out... Simple ESQL statements can achieve the same result as the REPLYTO functionality without inherriting the odd population of the MQMD.

Hope this is reaffirming.

Hi, Somewhere r other u have to specify the ReplytoQ name, one is
SET OutputRoot.MQMD.ReplytoQ='QueueName'; in the esql.. without specifying how u route the message...
