Hi there,

Is it possible to inquire on the channel attributes using the MQINQ call?
I need to get the max message length attribute of the channel

From what I read about the MQINQ call, its only applicable to
Queue
Namelist
Process definition
Queue manager

How do i do this for the channels??

You'll have to use the Inquire Channel PCF command to get at the max message length for a channel. You can find details in the WMQ Programmable Command Formats and Administration Interface manual. If you want to do this in java, you'll need to download SupportPac MS0B.
