Export them from your current Config Manager. For Message Flows, go to your Control Center and just right-click on the flows u want to export (if you have subflows, just export the main flow) and select export. This will produce an XML file for each flow you export.

For Message Sets, you will need to export it through the DOS prompt. The command is mqsiimpexpmsgset.

Then import them into your new Config Manager. For Message Flows, go to your Control Center and click on File -> Import to Workspace. If you're importing a main flow with subflows, all your subflows will automatically be imported as well.

For Message Sets, use the same mqsimpexpmsgset in DOS prompt.

Hope this helps.

There is also a supportpac which allows you to export/import messages flows from the command line. The supportpac is IC01.

I exported and imported and my message sets. For my message flows I copied my Workspace from my old config mgr to my new one.

When I look at my message flows I only see some of them. Although I see the names of all of them in my workspace when I click on some of them it doesn't show anything and the only option is remove. Approx half of them are not shown but the other half show up as expected????

If I click Add To Workspace, the missing one's are not listed.

You have to also export and import your message flows to move them from one ConfigMgr to another.

The Workspace file just controls the appearance of your control center. It doesn't actually add or remove anything from the ConfigMgr.

The ones you can 'see' in your ControlCenter are the ones that are actually stored in the new ConfigMgr. The ones you can't 'see' are not stored in the new ConfigMgr. This will also happen if you have a message flow in your workspace that someone else deletes from the ConfigMgr.

U should use the Import to Workspace option, not 'Add to Workspace'. You should get a small window titled Import Resources. From there, click Message Flows (should be clicked at default) and click Browse. Browse through your hard disk, and select the message flows that you've exported from your other Config Manager (should be .xml files). Finally click Import and the flows should appear in your workspace.

I think you also need to check it in to save them into your Config Manager...
