Our IP group has deemed it necessary to implement SSL connection behind the firewall. We are running MQ 5.2 on Solaris. Does MQ 5.2 support these connections for Client channels? If not, what are my options?

MQ 5.3 added support for SSL. With MQ 5.2, you might be able to do something with the MQ Internet pass-thru SupportPac. It can be found at:

http://www-3.ibm.com/software/integration/support/supportpacs/individual/ms81.html

I believe it has SSL support.

Thanks for the response. I'll check out the support Pac. We are going to migrate to 5.3, but not until 3 quarter 03.
