Background: Win 2k OS, MQ5.3.0.1. A single Q Mgr with 3 local Qs. msgs are nonpersistent. Remote Java client with 5 threads connected to Q mgrs separately. Local App pus msgs to the Qs, remote Java client get msgs out.

Each Java thread get s Q Mgr object, then each get operatino will 'assess the Q, get msgs, then cloe the Q.

I did set MQNOREMPOOL env variable.

Problem: I have run out of MaxChannels even the value has been set to 1000 (for MaxChannels & MaxActiveChannels).

I thought I only need 6 MaxChannels (default 100 will be more than enough).

Any solution?

Using runmqsc/display chstatus(*) might give you some information about channel connections to your qmgr.
