I don't know how MQJExplorer works but you should check if the listener is running and if the command server is running on AS/400.

Did you check if your userId is having permissions to access the QManager you are trying to access??

It depends, 2009 means MQRC_CONNECTION_BROKEN, which tells me you have to look on the servers log to find the reason why the queue manager don't want to communicate with you.

This might be caused by a security exit. I have never seen a 2035 under a MQCONN call, this arrise first on MQOPEN, MQPUT1 or MQCLOSE.

Ofcause a 2009 also might com from an unstable network, or someone shutting down the queuemanager... But I don't think this is the reason here

Just my $0.02
