I have workflow server running on AIX.Recently I had a problem wherein the MQSeries logs (In AIX for Workflow server) showed the error AMQ7469 with the message
"The log space for the queue manager is becoming full. One or more long-running transactions have been rolled back to release log space so that the queue manager can continue to process requests."
At that time the execution server and administration server was running , but the execution server was not processing requests.
When I tried to stop the administration server using fmcautil, the administration server stopped but the execution server was not stopping.
I checked the fmcsys.log file and found the FMC12290E error with the message
"FMC12290E The execution server for system FMCSYS is not responding to control requests".
Can any one tell , Why this error occurs. Why the execution server is not able to handle requests and not responding.
